BJD Doll Artist, Illustrator, and 3D Designer
About Me: I am Sandra Lócre, a passionate artist, based in Barcelona, with a realistic yet whimsical approach. My love for BJD doll sculpting and illustration has taken me on an exciting artistic journey, and since early 2023, I have integrated 3D into my art to reach a broader audience.
Bachelor's degree in Advertising and Public Relations from the University of Barcelona.
Training in illustration at Escola Joso.
Certificate in Stopmotion Animation from the Academy of Animation.
Short film scriptwriting course at Showrunners.
Porcelain doll sculpting at Kirei.
Inspiration: My artistic style and approach draw inspiration from the magic of childhood and the influence of great illustrators like Chris Riddell, Quentin Blake, Adam Rex, Hanna Barbera, and the masterminds behind Fujio Fujiko. The magic and emotional storytelling of Studio Ghibli have also left an indelible mark on my work.
Interests: My mission is to create dolls that evoke childhood memories, cherished companions that become living memories. I aim to capture the essence of innocence and wonder in each creation.
I also love interacting with those who love my work at events and fairs. There is nothing more gratifying than putting a face to a nickname and sharing a passion for artistic creation.
Desire to Collaborate: I would love to collaborate with brands, either in my country or internationally, that share values in love, family, equality, friendship and animals. By doing so, I hope to create art that resonates with a broader audience and spreads the message of these essential values.
Contact: I am open to projects and commissions. If my work has captivated you and you wish to collaborate, please do not hesitate to get in touch with me at email@example.com.
Thank you so much for your time, I hope you like my creations!
